Last days of summer ☀️
We are slowly but not so surely waving goodbye to summer - the climate crisis has of course made sure of that. Autumn is now ripening, which means bye bye summer wardrobe and hello winter wardrobe.
Before saying goodbye to summer completely, I wanted to share some of the favourite fashion conscious items that I wore during the last days of summer.
The amazing tie-dye dungarees are from Lucy and Yak. A very sustainable and caring clothing brand. Everything they design and make is kind to the climate, and kind to those who work with them.
The red and orange two-pieces, are from Monki and & Other Stories. Of course both of these companies fall under the umbrella of H&M, which I couldn’t believe was rated ‘Good’ on the Good On You sustainability scale - go H&M! They have certainly gone up in the world since I was a mini person. The brand has done a lot to achieve this rating (e.g., most of their clothing is made from recycled material, you can recycle your clothes at H&M stores and receive “conscious” points, and they now have a conscious range). Brilliant!
However, now that crisp autumn breeze is in the air, it is time to pull out the vintage jumpers and knits, and I can’t wait!
Stay safe, and wrap up warm!
