Colour-full Wardrobe

  Happy Sunday!  We have all been waiting patiently for a bit of sunshine. So, when I looked at the weather forecast on Thursday and read that the long bank holiday weekend was going to be a warm one, I was ecstatic! And as the government has relaxed the ‘rule-of-six’; permitting groups of six to meet indoors, I was able to actually see real-life people! In person! I expect a lot of people are relieved that they can now see their loved ones face-to-face, and give them a ‘cautious’ hug!  So onto the fashion side of things; I am not usually a bucket hat fan. My partner loves them, and wears them everywhere. Even around the house! However, this funky little number caught my eye on Depop a couple of weeks ago, and one impulsive buy later, here it is on my head!  The multi-coloured pattern is very much a bit of me.   Who doesn’t love a vintage knit? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I get so excited when I find good deals on vintage clothes. Depop and Vinted are great websites to browse for vintage looks, but I must admit, I do love going to an actually vintage store every once in a while.  I have photographed a couple of my favourite vintage knits, which are of course full of colour ! It is difficult to know what to wear with crazy prints and/or colourful clothes sometimes. Some days I spend ages looking in my wardrobe, trying to figure out what goes with what. I usually only wear  one busy garment at a time, which I guess you could call “the statement piece”, and then the rest of my outfit is pretty plain. I worry about entering a point beyond return of crazy print overload, with clashes here, there and everywhere. However, some people make it work! - if one of those people is reading this, please give me some tips. I have not quite mastered wearing a print on print, or rainbow on rainbow just yet!  ...
