Did anyone else get a chance to soak up some sun today? 

It was the perfect bbq weather! Not too hot, but not too cold. After over a year of lockdown, it is so nice to be able to meet up with our loved ones, even if it is in groups of 6 (or 2 households). 

I celebrated my Nan’s 77th birthday in my mum and dad’s garden today. It was amazing to see them all; it almost felt “normal” (whatever normal is now), plus I got to eat some very yummy food and drink Prosecco! 

I rocked up to the bbq in this 70s-inspired getup. I love clothing that is influenced by vintage fashion. However, I love an authentic vintage outfit so much more. I am sure I will be sharing some of my original vintage pieces soon. 

Today I was wearing a collision roll neck, dr marten creepers, and a reclaimed vintage jumpsuit.

Colour-full bucket twat

  Happy Sunday!  We have all been waiting patiently for a bit of sunshine. So, when I looked at the weather forecast on Thursday and read that the long bank holiday weekend was going to be a warm one, I was ecstatic! And as the government has relaxed the ‘rule-of-six’; permitting groups of six to meet indoors, I was able to actually see real-life people! In person! I expect a lot of people are relieved that they can now see their loved ones face-to-face, and give them a ‘cautious’ hug!  So onto the fashion side of things; I am not usually a bucket hat fan. My partner loves them, and wears them everywhere. Even around the house! However, this funky little number caught my eye on Depop a couple of weeks ago, and one impulsive buy later, here it is on my head!  The multi-coloured pattern is very much a bit of me.   I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t written on this blog in a very long time, and it is all because I forgot my log in details 🤦🏼‍♀️😂!  But! I am back now! Ready to share some more colour-full clothing with all you lovely readers (if I have any 😂).  I even have a life update to share! My partner and I are in the process of buying our first home! And jeez has it been a stressful process! No one warned us that it was going to be as hard as it has been. We are 3 months into our house buying journey, and still could loose the property we are purchasing at any given moment. Such a nightmare!
